The third trial test was taken by 296 students from the six partner universities. The test items covered the four subscales: (1) basic sciences, (2) clinical sciences of companion animals/equines and (3) of production animals, and (4) veterinary public health and food safety. The test contained 180 question items, of which 28 anchor items (validated items from trial test 1). The items were psychometrically validated and used to calculate students’ test scores. Students who participated in multiple tests have received additional feedback on their progress between the tests.
